Panthera Valkyrie is a primal shibari artist, alchemising the suffering and intimacy of willing prey into a beautiful trance — and on Friday 2 April 2027 she brings her ropes to the Fetish Party at Fetish Weekend London.
About Panthera
A self-described “romancer with rope” from the North West of England, Panthera ties with natural-fibre rope and plays on the wild side: the hunt, the capture, and the slow surrender as the rope layers on and her partner sinks into a deep, beautiful subspace. Lifted into suspension, her prey becomes a living sculpture of trust and tension.
For Panthera, the performance does not end at the top of the lift. “The undervalued moment in shibari is the descent,” she writes — the moment her partner is ready to float back down, followed by ties released slowly, stretching and massage. That devotion to both the wild and the tender is what makes her rope so captivating to watch.
Away from the stage she teaches rope, from first ties to suspension, and celebrates diverse bodies and identities through her Queer Rope photography project.
